Sno Valley Riders Snowmobile Club - Trout Creek, MI

Grooming great snowmobile trails in Michigan's Western U.P.

State-designated Michigan snowmobile trails are open December 1 - March 31, weather permitting

Welcome to Sno Valley Riders! We’re a volunteer-run snowmobile club based in Trout Creek, MI, dedicated to maintaining and grooming the trails in our corner of the western Upper Peninsula. When you see a smooth, ribbon trail out here, chances are our volunteers and equipment have been hard at work to make your ride safer and more fun.

See the latest trail conditions and grooming updates.

Help us keet the trails open, safe, and groomed.

❄️ Who We Are

Sno Valley Riders is a non-profit snowmobile club that maintains and grooms the trails around Trout Creek, Bruce Crossing, Ewen, Kenton, Sidnaw, and Rockland. Our members are local riders, business owners, and visitors who love winter and want to share the experience with others.

We work closely with landowners, the Michigan DNR, and neighboring clubs to keep our trail system open, signed, and safe. Your memberships, donations, and sponsorships go directly toward fuel, maintenance, equipment, and operating our club facilities.

❄️ Trails, Grooming & Trail Reports

Our trail system connects riders to miles of western U.P. riding, including access to major corridor trails, nearby towns, fuel stops, and other club systems. Our grooming team is out almost every night once the snow starts falling and as conditions allow. Our groomers work long hours during the night to give you the best ride we can.

  • Trail Report
Check our Trail Report page for current conditions, recent grooming runs, and any closures or hazards before you ride.

  • Groomer Tracker
We participate in Groomer Tracker, a paid app that shows when and where our groomers have been. Purchase access to Sno Valley Riders in the app to see our grooming activity and plan your ride.

  • Ride Right, Lead Right & Respect the Land
Please stay on signed trails, respect private property, and ride at safe speeds. Our trails exist because of generous landowners and volunteers—help us keep them open.

❄️ Support the Club & the Trails

Sno Valley Riders depends on memberships, donations, and business sponsors to keep our trails open and groomed. Whether you ride once a year or all season long, your support makes a difference.

❄️ Clubhouse & Events

Our clubhouse sits just off Trail 8 near Trout Creek and is home base for many of our events and meetings. Throughout the season we host club meetings and fun rider events like our Annual Trailside Hotdog Cookout, where we say “thank you” to everyone who chooses to ride Sno Valley.

  • Monthly Meetings
Join us to hear updates on grooming, trails, and club projects—and share your ideas. Meetings are typically the 2nd Wednesday of the month at our clubhouse. If a meeting is moved or cancelled, we will announce it here and on Facebook. Everyone is welcome.

  • Trailside Events
Watch our Events page and Facebook for cookouts, fundraisers, and special rides.

  • Volunteer Opportunities
From brushing trails to working events, we may be on the lookout for an extra pair of hands. If so, we will announce it here and on Facebook. Volunteering is one of the best ways to meet fellow riders.

❄️ Plan Your Ride to Sno Valley
