Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on 11/23/2025.

Sno Valley Riders is committed to ensuring our website and digital content are accessible to all visitors, including individuals with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to enjoy and engage with our club information, trail updates, events, and resources without barriers.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Our Commitment

We strive to follow best practices and standards outlined in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Ongoing improvements are part of our long-term website plan.

What We Are Doing

  • Designing with accessibility in mind from the start

  • Using clear headings, readable fonts, and consistent layouts

  • Adding descriptive alt text to images

  • Ensuring logical keyboard navigation

  • Maintaining proper color contrast

  • Monitoring and updating content regularly

Areas Being Improved

This website is continuously evolving as we add new features (such as trail maps, sponsor pages, and online forms). Some sections may not yet fully meet WCAG guidelines. We are actively working to enhance accessibility across all site features.

Third-Party Content

Some tools, apps, or links may be provided by third parties (e.g., Groomer Tracker). While we aim to partner with accessible providers, we cannot control the accessibility of content outside our website.
