Welcome to Sno Valley Riders. By joining the club, making a donation, or using our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Membership & Donations

1.1 Nature of Membership

Sno Valley Riders is a volunteer-led snowmobile club.
Memberships function as donations that support grooming, trail maintenance, equipment, and club operations.
Memberships do not include voting rights, ownership rights, or guaranteed services.

1.2 Membership Period

  • Memberships are valid for one year, beginning on January 1st and ending December 31st.

  • Renewal is optional but encouraged to support ongoing trail efforts.

1.3 Refund Policy

Because memberships and sponsorships are treated as donations:

  • All sales are final.

  • Sno Valley Riders does not issue refunds for memberships, donations, or sponsorship purchases.

  • If a duplicate transaction occurs, please contact us and we will assist.

1.4 Stickers & Member Items

Membership stickers or thank-you items are shipped as a courtesy.
Shipping delays or lost mail do not affect your membership status.

2. Sponsorships

2.1 Business Sponsorships

Business sponsorships support grooming operations and club initiatives.
Sponsors may receive:

  • Placement on our website

  • Placement on trail maps (when applicable)

  • Recognition on social media or printed materials

Exact placement or duration may vary based on design needs, print schedules, and map cycles.

2.2 No Guaranteed Traffic or Exposure

Sno Valley Riders cannot guarantee:

  • Business traffic

  • Rider visibility

  • Specific website placement

  • Marketing results

Sponsors support the club in exchange for recognition, but this is not an advertising contract with performance guarantees.

3. Online Payments

3.1 Payment Security

All payments are processed through secure third-party providers.
We do not store credit card numbers or payment details.

3.2 Errors or Declines

We are not responsible for:

  • Payment gateway downtime

  • Processing delays

  • Failed transactions due to bank issues

If you receive an error, please retry or contact us.

4. Trail Information & Safety

4.1 Trail Conditions

Trail conditions can change rapidly due to weather, grooming schedules, or unexpected hazards.
Information posted on our website or social media is for general guidance only and may not reflect real-time conditions.

4.2 Rider Responsibility

All riders must:

  • Follow Michigan DNR laws

  • Ride Right, Lead Right

  • Yield to groomers at all times

  • Stay on marked trails

  • Ride responsibly based on their own skill and comfort

Your membership does not imply trail access, maintenance guarantees, or safe conditions.

5. Groomer Tracker Information

If you choose to purchase Groomer Tracker access:

  • Sno Valley Riders does not operate the Groomer Tracker app.

  • All purchases, renewals, or technical issues for the app must be directed to Groomer Tracker support.

  • Data availability and accuracy are the responsibility of Groomer Tracker, not Sno Valley Riders.

6. Website Use

6.1 Ownership of Content

Photos, logos, trail maps, and text on our website are the property of Sno Valley Riders or are used with permission.
You may not copy, distribute, or use our content without authorization.

6.2 User Conduct

By using our website, you agree not to:

  • Misuse forms or contact information

  • Submit harmful code or automated scraping

  • Represent yourself as acting on behalf of Sno Valley Riders without permission

7. Liability Disclaimer

Snowmobiling is an inherently risky activity.
By riding the trails or participating in Sno Valley Riders activities, you acknowledge:

  • You ride at your own risk

  • Trail conditions can be unpredictable

  • The club cannot guarantee grooming or hazard-free trails

  • Volunteers and groomer operators are not liable for injuries, damages, or losses

Your membership or donation does not create any liability for Sno Valley Riders, its volunteers, or its officers.

8. Changes to These Terms

Sno Valley Riders may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
